We’re looking for a sharp, driven legal mind to join our team as a Judicial Staff Attorney to the District Court, where you’ll work directly with District Judges on legal matters facing our courts today.

What You Would Do:
Your work will be dynamic, meaningful, and central to the judicial process. Expect to:
- Research complex legal issues and prepare detailed memos that help shape court decisions.
- Draft and edit legal opinions, orders, and judgments with precision and purpose.
- Advise District Judges on legal strategy and interpretation across civil and criminal matters.
- Attend court proceedings, take detailed notes, and support the Judge through pre-trial conferences, motion hearings, and trials.
- Review and analyze evidence and court records to provide succinct legal insight.
- Collaborate with attorneys and public agencies to manage court scheduling and procedural flow.
- Stay current on legal developments, including statutes, case law, and procedural rules—your insights will help the Court stay sharp and informed.

Do You Have What It Takes?
- A Juris Doctor from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, with a current good standing.
- Strong command of legal research techniques (Westlaw proficiency preferred).

- An eye for detail with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
