Description: Koorsen Environmental Services, one of the premier restaurant kitchen hood and exhaust cleaning companies is on the hunt for new Grease Trap technician in the Indianapolis, IN market. Primary Functions
- Provide for effective communication between customers and Koorsen
- Environmental Services
- Inspect grease buildup and hazards
- Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency (get truck,tools, etc.)
- Drive truck to and from job site, following all traffic laws
- Remove grease buildup from Grease traps
- Completion and submission of quote and service paperwork to management in a timely manner
- Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner
- Follow all Koorsen Environmental Services sales and service protocols
- Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior industry and service experience of at least 1 year is preferable
- Class A CDL Licensee
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
- Customer oriented interpersonal skills
- Must be able to think proactively, and in the event of a problem must think “on the fly” and react quickly to diffuse the issue
- Technical and/or mechanical knowledge and abilities
- Must be able to use hand tools and small power tools
- Must be able to exercise effective organization/time management skills
- Must have the physical ability to work on a ladder, climb, and lift weights of over 75 pounds
- Ensure the highest level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
Essential Job Functions
- Must have basic mathematical skills
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a Class A CDL endorsement and a record of safe driving
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders to heights reaching at least 12 feet
- Must be able to access and tolerate small crawl spaces
- Must be able to recognize and identify colors
- Must be able to recognize safety alarm sounds and sights
This position may require the handling of chemicals that may be skin
and/or respiratory irritants. May also be exposed to ventilation areas which
may be respiratory irritants. Must not be skin and respiratory sensitive to
these materials and environments. MSDS are available.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
