Retail Sales Associate – Paint Department
Location: Grafton, MA
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time (must be able to work until close at 5 PM; some Saturdays required)
Reports To: Store Manager – Mike Wagner

At Koopman Lumber, we help customers bring their ideas to life. As a Paint Department Sales Associate, you’ll guide homeowners and pros through product selection, mix and tint paint, and deliver the kind of friendly, knowledgeable service that keeps customers coming back.
What You’ll Do
- Help customers choose the right products, colors, and finishes
- Mix and tint paint accurately using color-matching tools
- Provide friendly, solution-focused customer service at the counter and register
- Process sales, returns, and gift card transactions
- Keep shelves, tinting stations, and displays stocked, organized, and clean
- Assist with incoming inventory, shipments, and special orders
- Build relationships with professional painters, contractors, and DIY customers
- Learn new products, systems, and promotions through ongoing training
