Credit Analyst (Hybrid Remote)
Location: Mostly Remote (Monthly travel to Whitinsville, MA)
Type: Hourly – Full-Time or Part-Time
Koopman Lumber is seeking a Credit Analyst to support our Credit Department by evaluating credit risk, managing accounts receivable, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This is a hybrid remote role with reliable high-speed wired internet required and monthly on-site visits.
What You’ll Do
- Manage collections for assigned accounts (calls, emails, letters, texts)
- Resolve billing and payment issues professionally
- Maintain credit limits, account updates, and documentation
- Reconcile accounts and process adjustments
- Reduce delinquency through proactive communication and credit holds
- Review and analyze business & consumer credit reports
- Process new account applications
- Partner with the Credit Manager and Sales teams
- Document all activity and maintain accurate records
We’re looking for someone proactive—a problem-solver who looks for ways to improve processes, prevent recurring issues, and enhance the customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
- 3–5 years of credit, collections, or AR experience
- Strong Excel/Word skills; Bistrack a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable high-speed wired internet
- Ability to travel to Whitinsville monthly and quarterly
