About the Role
At Kool Chevrolet, we don’t just sell cars; we build relationships. We have been a staple of the Grand Rapids community since 1974, and our growth is skyrocketing. We are currently looking for a high-energy, high-integrity Sales Manager to step into the shoes of a retiring sales leader.
This isn’t just a "fill-the-seat" position. We need a mentor, a closer, and a strategist who can lead our sales team to the next level while maintaining the transparent, "Pretty Kool" experience our customers expect.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & Mentor: Manage and motivate a team of Sales Consultants. You’ll be the "coach on the field," helping them sharpen their skills and close deals.
- Drive Growth: Implement sales strategies to hit monthly targets and capitalize on our current expansion.
- Customer Experience: Ensure every guest feels like a VIP. You’ll handle "T.O.s" (Turn-Overs) and resolve customer concerns with a professional, positive attitude.
- Inventory & Desking: Work closely with our inventory specialists to manage the lot and desk deals with precision and transparency.
- Collaborate: Partner with the F&I and Service departments to ensure a seamless "one-stop-shop" experience for our clients.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Experience: At least 2–5 years of automotive management experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- The "Kool" Factor: You have an infectious positive energy and a professional appearance. You lead by example, not by ego.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM systems and inventory management software.
- Leadership: Ability to recruit, train, and develop talent. We want someone who builds people up.
- Clean Record: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
