What you will do (Essential Functions)
· Ability to set up and run CNC rotary tube bending machines such as Soco, Eagle or Addison with limited supervision.
· Set up and operate CNC rotary draw bending machine while conforming to manufacturing tolerances.
· Set up and switch tooling of CNC rotary draw bending machine (Bend Di, Clamp Di, Wiper Di, Pressure Di, Mandrel, Collette, Stop Blocks).
· Program new post bends into CNC bending machine.
· Check drawings to work orders to ensure the correct quality of posts are bent and put out for the job.
Requirements
What we require (Skills and Abilities)
· Ability to work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
· Proficient in English to communicate with fellow employees and follow work instructions.
· Ability to use required hand tools, power tools, and cutting machines in the assembly process.
· Ability to use measuring instruments such as a tape measure.
· Detail-oriented with a large emphasis on accuracy.
· Ability to work in high-pressure situations under deadlines.
Education and Experience Requirements
· High School diploma or GED.
Great to Have
· Previous experience with tube bending.
· Previous experience in the manufacturing of complex tube assemblies.
· Certified Production Technician (NCMIT graduate) preferred.
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods of standing for up to 8 hours a day.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
