Position Summary


The President will serve as the operational leader of Konvergent Wealth Management — the execution engine translating the founder’s big-picture vision into disciplined, scalable systems. As “integrator-in-chief” you will oversee day-to-day operations across all business functions, build enterprise-level infrastructure to support rapid growth, and ensure accountability throughout the organization.


This role requires a proven track record in wealth management and family office leadership, orchestrating the complexities of UHNW planning by managing networks of CPAs, attorneys, insurance specialists, and other advisors. You will unify teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure Konvergent achieves its goal of growing from $700M to $5B AUM within three years.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and align all functional areas (advisory, operations, compliance, revenue, and client experience) toward firm-wide goals.
  • Build and scale systems, processes, and KPIs to manage exponential AUM growth.
  • Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary family office services for UHNW clients.
  • Enforce accountability, protect focus, and ensure projects are executed on time and to standard.
  • Team Management & Talent Development — Develop and retain top talent; provide clear role expectations; hold team members accountable in a culture of performance and results.
  • Strengthen leadership capabilities and create clarity across the organization.
  • Partner with the founder on strategic opportunities while owning day-to-day execution.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • The President’s success will be measured against five enterprise-wide KPIs:
  • AUM Growth Rate – Drive consistent growth toward $5B AUM in three years (~60% CAGR).
  • Proposal Cycle Time – Reduce average proposal-to-close time from ~90 days to 45 days or less.
  • UHNW Client Acquisition & Retention – Increase new UHNW business-owner clients while maintaining >95% retention of existing clients.
  • Operational Efficiency – Achieve >85% completion of quarterly Rocks/OKRs and >90% on-time workflow completion.
  • Family Office Integration – Ensure 100% of UHNW clients have documented, active plans leveraging external experts.


Qualifications


  • Experience — 10 years of progressive leadership success in wealth management, financial services, or a closely related industry.
  • Education — Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field recommended; MBA or advanced leadership education preferred
  • Family Office Expertise — Minimum 5 years working in, or leading, a family office environment, coordinating complex multi-disciplinary expert teams.
  • Growth Track Record — Demonstrated success in scaling firms or practices, with measurable results in revenue and/or AUM growth.
  • Integrator DNA — Proven success as a second-in-command, partnering with Visionary founders to drive strategy execution and organizational alignment.
  • Operational Mastery — Strong record of designing and implementing scalable systems, processes, and KPIs in high-growth environments.
  • Corporate Entrepreneurial Blend — Background in both enterprise-scale organizations (structure, compliance, governance) and entrepreneurial SMBs (agility, adaptability).
  • Financial Services Depth — Deep knowledge of fiduciary standards, advanced planning, UHNW client service models, and compliance frameworks.
  • Leadership Style — Detail-oriented, disciplined, and accountability-driven; known for building clarity and consistency across teams.


Compensation


  • Base Salary: $275,000 – $350,000 DOE, Performance
  • Performance Compensation: Significant incentive structure tied to growth, profitability, and KPI achievement.
  • Equity Potential: Opportunity for meaningful equity participation based on long-term performance and contribution to firm growth.
