Role Profile:
We are seeking a driven Senior Key Account Executive to focus on Tier 1 and Tier 2 IoT customers in the Central U.S., primarily focused on Microsoft Licensing IoT solutions. This role involves driving sales growth, securing design wins, and expanding bookings and revenue through direct sales. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a Territory Sales Plan to achieve revenue growth in the Microsoft Licensing IoT arena.
- Customer Relationships: Cultivate senior-level relationships within key accounts to build trust and align Kontron’s solutions with customer needs.
- Business Development: Drive prospecting and new business development, focusing on incremental growth in new projects, and MS license orders.
- Sales Process: Lead the entire sales process from discovery to closing deals, positioning Kontron’s products as the best fit for customers.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records in Kontron's CRM, (D365)including sales activity reports, pipeline reviews, and forecasts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs.
- Market Intelligence: Analyze customer organizations to stay ahead of market trends and customer demands.
- Proactively engage with new leads and effectively communicate key details on Windows IoT licensing and Device Management offerings.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, Communications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 5–7 years of sales within high-tech markets, knowledge of Microsoft IoT licenses or operating systems. (WIN 10, 11, server).
- Knowledge of Software and device management platforms, a plus.
- Sales Skills: Proven business development, consultative sales, and account management experience for Tier 1 & Tier 2 customers.
- Strong Negotiator: Ability to close deals with minimal management engagement.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to communicate technical and system concepts to diverse audiences, including C-level executives.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-Motivation: Capable of working independently and within a team.
- Travel: 25% travel to customer sites or trade show events.
- Track Record: Success in hunting, quota attainment and closing new logos.

Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
