As a Software Engineer at Kontakt.io, you’ll develop systems that orchestrate patient milestones, identify and prioritize discharge barriers, and prevent unit-level bottlenecks before they happen. Your work will directly improve care delivery by automating escalations and high-census communications across hospital operations.
Desired Skills
- 4 years backend experience with Java/Kotlin, Python, JS/Angular preferred.
- StrongComputer Science fundamentals a must.
- Experience with both OOP and Functional Programming is a plus.
- 4 years designing and building APIs that are simple to use, fast to respond, and scalable
- Experience with event sourced architectures (Kafka etc.) preferred
- 2 years building & designing UI's for frontend apps
- 2 years developing and deploying container-based apps
- Comfortable building new products from the ground up, in a small team.
- Built for collaboration - our team a hybrid schedule of 3 days/week minimum from our New York City office
