Senior Product Manager - Financial Products

KonstructIQ
Los Altos, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 3/26/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 9/20/2026

Hey, we’re KonstructIQ

KonstructIQ is a fast-growing startup on a mission to modernize residential construction. We’re building the system of record for how contractors run their business - spanning projects, finances, and money movement. Our goal is to put AI at the center of these workflows, helping general contractors win more work, reduce manual operations, and improve cash flow. From AI-powered estimating to embedded financial products, we’re building a platform where work gets done and money moves seamlessly.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and scale KonstructIQ’s financial products and turn them into a core growth engine for the business. You’ll be responsible for driving adoption, usage, and monetization by embedding financial products into core workflows and making KonstructIQ the default system for how contractors manage and move money.

A key part of this role is leveraging AI to redesign and automate financial workflows - reducing manual work, increasing reliability, and driving deeper product adoption.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the end-to-end strategy for financial product adoption, usage, and monetization across payments, bill pay, lending, banking and cards financial workflows
  • Identify high-leverage moments (e.g., invoicing, bill approval, budgeting) to integrate financial products
  • Develop pricing and monetization strategies tied to payment volume, interchange, and product usage
  • Identify high-friction, multi-step financial workflows (e.g., invoicing, payment, spend, reconciliation) and redesign them using AI to move from manual -> assisted -> autonomous
  • Prioritize ruthlessly across competing opportunities, focusing on the highest-impact initiatives that drive adoption, usage, and revenue
  • Partner across product, engineering, GTM, and external partners (banks, payment processors)
  • Align product strategy with onboarding, distribution, and partnerships

Skills and Attributes We’re Looking For

  • 5–10 years of product management experience, in embedded fintech, payments, or growth-focused roles
  • Experience building or scaling financial products with meaningful revenue impact
  • Strong understanding of financial products and monetization models (payments, take rate, interchange, lending, etc.)
  • Strong intuition for how money moves through a business, including tradeoffs between speed, cost, risk, and user trust
  • Proven track record of driving adoption, engagement, or revenue growth
  • Deep understanding of user behavior and workflow design, especially in products that require behavior change
  • Experience designing or improving multi-step workflows, with a focus on shaping user behavior, reducing user effort, and increasing automation
  • Highly data-driven - you define and track metrics like TPV, activation, attach rate, and retention
  • Ability to operate across product, GTM, and partnerships
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or design-oriented field
  • High ownership and high agency - you drive outcomes end-to-end

AI Expectations

  • Regularly use AI tools to prototype ideas, analyze data, and accelerate product development
  • Focus on building reliable, production-ready AI experiences, balancing automation with accuracy, control, and user trust
  • Ability to structure problems for AI systems (defining inputs, outputs, and constraints) and iterate based on results
  • Experience designing or running evaluations (evals) to measure AI system performance (e.g., accuracy, consistency, edge cases) and improve reliability over time
  • Strong intuition for which parts of a workflow should remain user-driven vs automated

Bonus Points

  • Background in vertical SaaS or construction tech
  • Prior startup experience

Our Values

  • Act like an owner
  • Strive for excellence
  • Communicate openly and honestly
  • Lead with data
  • Succeed in work and life

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Own a core revenue-driving pillar of the business
  • Massive impact on product direction and company growth
  • Opportunity to shape how AI and fintech converge in a real-world vertical
  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity
