Distribution Account Manager
This position is responsible for managing relationships with Konrady Plastics’ distribution customers and growing sales revenue above the existing organic revenue. This position is a full-time salaried position (covers all hours worked) that reports to the Customer Service Manager.
Requirements
- Quoting customers on raw materials including Plastic Sheet, Rod & Tube and/or cut to size/simple router jobs using Jobboss2 ERP software
- Processing new and change orders accurately using Jobboss2 ERP software
- Building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with customers
- Developing strong relationships with vendors regarding sourcing of material
- Collaborating with Konrady Plastics’ Warehouse Material Handler, Purchasing Manager, and other various internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met
- Reconciling customer issues and complaints in a timely manner
- Providing customers with timely information pertaining to updates on their orders or quotes and/or any changes in delivery dates
- Processing RGAs (returns from customers) for non-conforming material using Jobboss2 ERP software and collaborating with the Quality department to help drive resolution for the material
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with Plastics Distribution Industry is a plus
- ERP Systems experience
- Strong math skills
- Experience with Excel is a plus
- Experience negotiating with vendors for better pricing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and handle/prioritize multiple tasks at the same time
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport with customers and collaborate with others within the company
- Ability to problem solve and make quick decisions
- Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards
- Ability to work in warehouse setting that may not always be temperature controlled
- ISO 9001 experience a plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
