We are seeking a detail-oriented Authorization Entry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering authorizations into the system and ensuring that appointments are scheduled and rendered as needed.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Authorization Entry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering authorizations into the system and ensuring that appointments are scheduled and rendered as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter authorizations into the internal systems with high accuracy
- Verify and update appointment schedules to ensure all services are rendered as authorized
- Collaborate with TASKids' clinical and administrative teams to resolve discrepancies or missing information
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Monitor and follow up on pending authorizations and appointment statuses
- High attention to detail: Ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in documentation
- Experience in medical billing: Previous work with insurance authorizations, claims, or billing processes
- High School Diploma/GED. BS/BA preferred
- Fast and accurate typing skills: Capable of efficiently entering large volumes of data
- Knowledge of CPT codes: Understanding of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and their application in healthcare billing
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
