Job Title: Sales Product Specialist
Location: Glendora, CA | Onsite
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch) or 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Monday/Tuesday or Monday/Wednesday off (Must be able to work weekends and flexible hours)
Compensation: $22 per hour

Job Summary:
The Sales Product Specialist supports the customer experience by helping customers find the right vehicle to fit their needs. This role focuses on understanding and presenting vehicle features and capabilities, building strong relationships, guiding customers through the sales process, and providing thoughtful follow-up. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, excellent at communicating, and maintains a professional appearance while delivering a positive and informative experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops in-depth knowledge of automobiles by studying features, specifications, and performance capabilities; comparing competitive models; and inspecting vehicles.
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships by staying connected with previous clients; recommending trade-ins; engaging prospects at community events; greeting walk-in customers; responding to inquiries; and promoting sales campaigns and special offers.
  • Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport.
  • Presents and demonstrates vehicles by highlighting key features and capabilities; conducting test drives; and reviewing warranty coverage and available service options.
  • Finalizes sales transactions by addressing customer objections; requesting the sale; negotiating pricing; completing purchase agreements; reviewing contract terms; presenting warranty, service, and financing options; collecting payment; and coordinating vehicle delivery.
  • Provides sales management information by completing reports.
  • Make follow up phone calls to customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • During follow-up calls, communicate the importance of completing CSI surveys.
  • Bring all customer concerns and complaints to the attention of the Sales Managers.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; remains knowledgeable of new products, features, accessories, processes, etc.
  • Respond to inbound sales calls throughout the day and route inquiries as needed; participate in scheduled meetings and training sessions.
  • Enhances company reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Follow policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook; report to work on time; follow directions; interact effectively with co-workers; understand and follow rules and procedures; and accept constructive criticism.
  • Utilize company databases and software in accordance with established training and procedures; complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Possess understanding and knowledge of equity and values, automobile depreciation, and local, state and federal laws that guide automobile industry.
  • Must be excellent at communicating information to visitors and inquirers.
  • Possess good dress sense that portrays neat and smart personality.
  • Must be able to sell minimum quota according to company standards.
  • Must be aggressive in selling; and possess a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to work extended hours, evenings, holidays and weekends.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language. Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance are required.
  • Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass an MVR and background check. Must have a valid California Sales License.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
