Job Title: Machine Operator (2nd shift)
Location: Chatsworth, CA | Onsite
Employment Type: Temp to Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm | Full Time (Overtime required some Saturdays)
Compensation: $22.00–$24.20 per hour, DOE

Job Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring machinery to support efficient production. This role ensures quality output by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and product inspections, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. It also ensures the efficient and safe operation of machines, adherence to quality standards, and timely completion of the production schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure efficient production
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications
• Record production data and report any issues to the supervisor
• Assist with setup and changeover of machinery as needed
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma, GED, or five (5) years’ work experience
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to read and write English
• Experience operating machines for laser cutting, drilling, routing, etc.
• Strong computer skills
• Must successfully complete a background check

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Familiarity with ISO standards and quality control processes
• Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Familiarity with Solder Dispensing Machine, Drill and Mill Machine, X-ray Machine, ESI/Excellon Laser, or SMD Pick and Place Machine

This position requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
