Job Summary
An automotive parts manufacturing company in Elba, Alabama is seeking an experienced HR Specialist. This position will support recruiting, employee attendance management, payroll processing, and general HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruiting activities, including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, and onboarding
- Monitor employee attendance, absences, tardiness, and attendance records
- Assist with payroll preparation, timekeeping verification, and payroll-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support employee relations, disciplinary actions, and company policy administration
- Coordinate new-hire orientation and required employment paperwork
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations
Qualifications
- Two or more years of HR, recruiting, timekeeping, or payroll experience preferred
- Manufacturing or automotive industry experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, on-site in Elba, Alabama.
