Konik is partnering with a growing, well-established specialty contractor known for delivering complex, high-quality structural and construction solutions across commercial and industrial projects. This organization has built a strong reputation in the market through consistent execution, long-term client relationships, and a commitment to craftsmanship and safety.
With a steady pipeline of work and continued investment in people and processes, they are looking to add a Project Director who can help scale their operations, develop talent, and drive project excellence across the organization.
Project Director Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of Project Managers across multiple projects
- Oversee project execution, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality expectations
- Support teams with problem-solving, risk mitigation, and resource allocation
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Partner with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency
- Support team development through coaching, feedback, and performance management
Project Director Qualifications
- 8–15 years of experience in construction project management or leadership roles
- Proven ability to lead teams across multiple projects and project managers
- Strong background in commercial or specialty construction environments
- Experience managing complex, multi-phase commercial projects
- Proficiency with construction management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on involvement when needed
