Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Lead Mobility Engineer to support KITS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This opportunity will require the candidate to work onsite in downtown Washington, DC; Hybrid (3 days onsite up to 2 telework).

The Ideal Lead Mobility Engineer Will
- Plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluate performance results, and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
- Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
- Systems engineering support throughout the entire system life cycle to support data center modernization.
- Develops understanding of customers' organization, goals, business needs, and enterprise mobile architectures and systems.
- Establishes system development and integration methodologies and standards such as the ELCM.
- Develops system architectures that adhere to the Enterprise Mobile Architecture.
- Develops user requirements and ensures that business solutions are consistent with client strategic goals and investment decisions.
- Employs best practice processes in the design, development, integration, and implementation of mobile systems.
- Apply business process improvement practices to reengineer business processes, principles, and methodologies.
- Implements state-of-the-practice mobile technology in the client environment, using leading-edge approaches, concepts, and ideas.
- Researches and evaluates mobile system designs to select appropriate technology and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Supervise other team members as needed.
- On-site downtown Washington, DC, three (3) days per week.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant discipline
- Have a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor
- Possess a base-level certification, such as A , Security , or Network
- Possess a Core certification within their functional area, such as VMware Certified Specialist -Workspace ONE 21.X Advanced Integration
- Candidates must pass a Criminal Background check
