We are a compassionate agency supporting individuals enrolled in the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). Our mission is to provide safe, reliable respite care that gives families meaningful breaks while ensuring members receive attentive, supportive supervision.
Position Summary
We are seeking dependable and caring Respite Providers (PRN) to offer short‑term relief care for DDD members in their homes or community settings. This role is flexible and ideal for someone who enjoys helping others and wants to make a positive impact.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and companionship to DDD members
- Ensure member safety and comfort during respite hours
- Engage members in appropriate activities (games, crafts, outings, etc.)
- Follow family routines and member preferences
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Communicate effectively with families and agency staff
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Article 9 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass background checks and required trainings
- Experience with DDD members preferred but not required
