Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to support our housekeeping operations by ensuring all linens, towels, and textiles are cleaned, processed, and delivered to departments in a timely manner. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel textiles
- Inspect all items for stains, tears, or excessive wear and report issues to management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room, equipment, and storage areas
- Track linen usage and report shortages or inventory concerns
- Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures
- Assist with delivering clean linens to housekeeping or other departments as needed
- Support deep-cleaning or special laundry projects during slower periods
Qualifications
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry laundry bags or carts
- Comfortable working around heat, humidity, and machinery
