We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. Responsibilities
- Manage and litigate a wide range of real estate disputes, including boundary disputes, title issues, zoning conflicts, and lease disagreements.
- Prepare and file legal motions, pleadings, and depositions with precision and adherence to procedural law requirements.
- Represent clients in court depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial proceedings with professionalism and persuasive advocacy.
- Draft comprehensive contracts, lease agreements, settlement agreements, and other legal documents tailored to client needs.
- Provide expert legal counsel on estate planning as it relates to property assets, environmental law considerations, and land use regulations.
- Negotiate settlements effectively while maintaining client objectives and fostering positive relationships with opposing counsel.
- Maintain meticulous case management records using legal case management software to ensure timely progression of each matter.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, communicate complex legal concepts clearly, and develop strategic approaches for litigation or resolution.
- Stay informed about developments in employment law cases involving real estate issues or workplace property disputes.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required.
- Proven experience in general & commercial litigation with a focus on real estate law; prior work in personal injury law or employment law case experience is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation abilities coupled with effective legal advocacy skills for courtroom proceedings.
- Familiarity with environmental law, landlord-tenant law, family law as it intersects with property issues, securities law related to real estate investments, tribal law & regulations, patent law (if applicable), workers' compensation law considerations involving property claims, and statutory legal research.
- Experience handling court depositions and trial preparation with attention to detail and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of contract drafting, legal motion preparation, procedural rules, and legal administrative processes essential for effective practice.
Pay: $111,328.02 - $122,486.51 per year
