Groundskeeper

We are currently hiring landscape/groundskeepers. We manage 600 apartments in and around the Fan area of Richmond. Our landscape/grounds crew maintains our property’s outdoor spaces including parking lots and landscaped areas. Experience with riding mowers, weed-eaters, blowers and other grounds/landscaping tools required. Grass, plant and shrub knowledge is favored.

Position requires driver's license with good driving record and reliable transportation. You will be responsible for maintaining clean, presentable grounds at our apartment communities . This involves general cleanup- mostly outdoor, some indoor. You will also have general landscaping responsibility.

Candidate must be able to push, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 to 4PM. Must be able to climb extension ladders and use step ladders independently.

Responsibilities include some or all of the following:

• Picking up trash and other items (sometimes furniture) left throughout community
• Landscaping
• Assisting other technicians with light maintenance work as needed, both interior and exterior

Candidates with previous landscaping experience preferred.
