Through customized skid-mounted or standalone SAF systems, Heron Innovators delivers sustainable and cost-effective solutions that outperform traditional wastewater treatment methods.
The Field Service Technician II will be responsible for ensuring successful commissioning of Komline-Heron units, training end users, maintaining accurate service records, and responding promptly to service calls.

The Field Service Technician II will be responsible for ensuring successful commissioning of Komline-Heron units, training end users, maintaining accurate service records, and responding promptly to service calls.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Perform commissioning tasks such as mechanical and electrical checks, equipment verification, and proper installation ready for operation
- Record appropriate initial operations data while performing equipment optimization and tests
- Supervise and coordinate start-up efforts from product lines and outside vendors to ensure system compliance within the scope of the customer’s performance criteria
- Coordinate contractors and other onsite personnel to oversee activities and inspect work-in-progress
- Implement operational requirements to ensure success during equipment trials and review specifications with the customer to ensure equipment compliance
- Produce accurate progress reports and site reviews for the Project Manager and Customer Representative, developing and maintaining punch lists to track outstanding items and deficiencies for project completion
- Associate’s degree, trade school, or military training
- 5 years of field service experience
- Possess knowledge of process equipment control panels, motor, pumps, gear reducers, AC/DC drives, and instrumentation
- Experience with programmable controllers and operator interface terminals
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with programmable controllers and operator interface terminals
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals
- Experience working with mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals
- Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Suite
- Collaborate with others and working in a team environment
- Travel up to 70% to customer sites location in the United States and internationally
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
