We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and reviewing electrical systems and components for various projects, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client standards.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design drawings using CAD Software (e.x. AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical)
• Create schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, circuit diagrams, and PID drawings
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other designers to ensure accurate and efficient designs
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, heat calculations, and other electrical engineering tasks
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes (e.g., UL508A, NFPA, NEC, IEC, etc.) and safety standards
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from clients, engineers, and project managers
• Responsible for customer and manufacturing releases, including customer drawings, specifications, and data sheets
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful completion
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to internal and external customers
• Ensure cost optimization on projects by optimizing design, hardware selection, procurement, etc.
• Develop, implement, and maintain standards and work processes
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in industrial machinery manufacturing
• Proficiency in electrical design software and tools
• Strong understanding of single line diagrams, electrical schematics, panel layouts, as well as electrical codes and standards
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines
• Traveling as necessary for client meetings, site visits, and other project related activities
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player
• Able to utilize Microsoft Suite
• Detail-oriented, remain calm and can maintain a stable performance under pressure
• Self-motivated with a determined work ethic. Proactive approach
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to work as a team
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
