Our Komline Custom Machining team is seeking a skilled Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist to aid us in delivering precision parts and components to meet our goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to produce precision parts
- Program CNC machines using G-code to control machine operations
- Inspect finished products using precision measurement tools to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to meet project deadlines and production goals
- Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and optimize production processes
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in CNC machining or completion of a technical program in CNC operation
- Proficiency in operating a 5-Axis DMG CNC machine and understanding G-code/M-code
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as required
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
Nice To Have:
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, AutoCAD)
- Experience operating CNC lathes or turn mill experience
