Job Overview
Provides the resource to assist with process improvement activities within PMO Procurement team and works to align cross functionally to ensure optimal organizational effectiveness. Assist the department managers to drive change within the organization. Defines required metrics for supporting internal effectiveness and individual accountability within the department. Assist the procurement managers with projects that impact the Electric Haulage Division. Manages the process to measure supplier performance and provides tools to assist managers to drive controls for supplier performance.
This position is responsible for the periodic management and control of the planning processes and the development and maintenance of other material requirement points of control. The duties and responsibilities and accountabilities of this position impact the following - $600M inventory (combined inventory for manufacturing and service parts). Availability targets (95% ) Manages supplier performance management of over 400 suppliers.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Support the development and on-going management of organizational controls and metrics that drive individual accountability within the department.
- To lead Procurement department improvements, including research, analysis, develop recommended actions, implement/track plans needed to support the Electric Haulage Division.
- Coordinate and control the integration between various systems inside and outside of the division to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate and prepare periodic analysis, reports and presentations that track performance to goal or provide information for action regarding, inventory, availability, supplier performance, backorder aging or any other procurement responsibility.
- Provides reports and analysis for decision making at all levels of the organization.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager, Production Planning.
- The position occasionally requires working extended periods to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Bachelor of Science degree required – MBA a plus.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Parts Operations, Logistics, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Materials Management – experience managing inventory control and MRP systems a plus.
- Experience with aPriori software required.
- Ability to identify cost drivers and optimize product costs throughout the product lifecycle.
- Analytical skills a must, including aptitude for various software systems; Power BI, SAP, Python.
- Advanced excel experience is a requirement including but not limited to writing VBA. Knowledge of SQL is required.
- Professional written and oral communication skills appropriate to all levels of the organization.
- Professional PC skills and working knowledge of operating systems, manufacturing processes.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Power Point, are required.
- Experience with MRP system implementation or transition is a plus.
- Embraces personal accountability, self-motivation, and willingness to make decisions.
- Must be able to prioritize work.
- Strong customer service skills required for internal and external customers.
- Ability to cross functionally collaborate a must.
