Key Job Responsibilities
As a Material Handler, your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Safety Advocacy: Champion and adhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures, ensuring not only your safety but also fostering a culture of safety across the team.
- Equipment and Area Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain equipment, tools, and workspace to uphold a tidy, efficient, and safe working environment.
- Material Handling Duties: Perform various manual and clerical tasks related to material handling, including receiving, unpacking, and organizing parts and supplies for the assembly line to maintain uninterrupted production.
- Inventory Management: Accurately place parts and supplies in designated locations, manage stock levels, and perform returns of surplus materials to the warehouse.
- Waste Management: Properly dispose, recycle, or reject materials following company guidelines to contribute to environmentally responsible operations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and address any production needs or concerns.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and contribute ideas for process enhancements that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve safety standards.
We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications and requirements:
