Job Overview
Komatsu is recruiting a Field Technician to work at our Sparks, NV location.

- Maintain an annual repair efficiency of at least 85%.
- Ensure rework hours remain under 3% of billed hours.
- Adhere to standard repair times and achieve balanced scorecard goals.
- Prioritize safety and comply with all regulations.
- Manage documentation and implement contamination control measures.
- Provide accurate quotes and excellent customer service.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, testing all repairs thoroughly.
- Thoroughly test and validate the functionality of all repairs made and adjustments performed.
- Apply general failure analysis procedures for effective troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex issues.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Diesel Technology preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Flexibility to accommodate various work schedules, including shift work
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic and computer skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues.
- Mechanical knowledge.
- Certification to operate a forklift and/or manlift required.
- MSHA certification and respirator certification may be necessary.
- Possession of a basic mechanics toolset required.
- Valid Driver’s License
