- Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation.
- Regulation Adherence: Follow contamination control and HAZMAT regulations meticulously.
- Technical Tasks: Perform parts removal/installation, component assembly/disassembly, and testing with precision.
- Customer Interaction: Provide accurate and timely quotes to customers, ensuring transparency and trust.
- Problem Solving: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and recommend effective repairs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the correct operation of all repairs to maintain high standards.
- Failure Analysis: Apply failure analysis techniques for accurate diagnosis and repair.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years related experience or equivalent.
- Flexibility: Ability to work various schedules to meet operational needs.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified to operate a forklift and/or manlift; may need to complete a DOT physical; MSHA certification required; respirator certification may be needed.
- Tooling: Basic mechanics tools as per Komatsu’s technician tool list.
- Policies and Procedures: Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
- Work Environment: Be prepared to work in varying conditions, including exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and occasional extreme elements. The noise level is moderate.
