Job Overview Maintain and repair Komatsu underground equipment Timely, effective repairs of machine components in the Field Key Job Responsibilities Inspect equipment for proper performance and determine faults and malfunctions. Troubleshooting and diagnosis; adjust equipment & repair/replace parts components or systems according to scopes of work. Tests repaired equipment to ensure proper operational performance. Commission new equipment. Provide customer training as required. Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, etc. Stay current with industry, customer, product developments and technical best practices. Build strong relationships with internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Ensure customer satisfaction within area of primary responsibility Work safely and follow all Komatsu/Customer safety policies and procedures. Complete related paperwork and access databases require to complete job accurately and timely. Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations. Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision. Qualifications/Requirements • Associate Degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent. • Minimum of 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work. • Certified to operate a forklift and/or manlift • May be required to complete a DOT physical • Required to complete MSHA certification • May be required to complete respirator certification Additional Information Company Benefits Komatsu provides an extensive and robust employee benefits package that is designed to enhance the well-being of our employees and family members.
