Hiring Range
At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $$33.40-$44.60. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.

- Field Service Technicians work with both Mechanical and Welding applications in field environment.

Use of judgement to plan, perform and made decisions as the sequence of set-ups, operations and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures.
Responsibility to prevent damaged due to mistakes or carelessness to equipment or materials.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Understands Welding and Cutting Applications including air arcing, and dual shield wire
- Continuous mental and visual attention; usually repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity
- Clean tools, clean equipment, paint and grease equipment as needed
- Prevent loss which may result from negligent inspection or testing; from spoilage or wastage of raw or in process materials
- Will work with a higher Welder or Mechanic to learn to interpret blueprints, operate electrical power tools and pneumatic power tools as well as learning how to follow a scope of work
- Over 1 year up to and including 3 years mechanical experience and/or weld experience in a similar job, is a plus
- Ability to interpret and understand complicated drawings, specifications, charts and tables
- Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain a CDL is required for this position.
