Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Finance Manager role based in Virginia, MN. The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for the local operation, providing clear insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, preparing management reports, analyzing variances, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end close activities. The role will manage cost control initiatives, support capital investment proposals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial outcomes and operational efficiency. The Finance Manager will also ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations, while contributing to continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
Qualifications
- Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills, with experience in variance analysis and management reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance, including experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling, with the ability to work with ERP or financial systems and analyze complex data sets.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to support decision-making and cost optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
