CNC Machinist - 3rd Shift

Essential DutiesSet up and operate CNC mills and lathes.  Perform progressive machining operations on work involving close tolerances or unusual requirementsPerform complex machining and fitting of parts in support of production operationsAble to program machine tools utilizing FANUC, TOSNUC 999 or MAZAK control preferredFit and assemble equipment where necessaryOperate overhead crane and forkliftsAble to work from blueprints, sketches, CAD/CAM files and written specificationsUse machinists’ hand tools and measuring instruments with skillBe familiar with the working properties of all machined materialsMust be willing to work the third shift from 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday (4 ten-hour shifts per week)Must be willing to work overtimeMust have your own toolsSpecial Skills5 or more years of experience programming, part set up and operating CNC machines preferredMastercam programming is a plusExperience in a job shop/ tool room atmosphere preferredDemonstrated competency in computer operationStrong mathematical and mechanical aptitudeAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manualsAbility to work with others in team atmosphereKomar offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes:Competitive hourly wage$1.00 Shift DifferentialPTO and paid holidaysMedical, Dental, Prescription, and Vision coverage401(k) programLife insuranceFlexible Spending Account (medical and dependent)Optional supplemental insuranceUniforms providedApply today and come join our team!EOE M/F/D/V Company DescriptionWe build careers.
