Bistro Attendant

Overview: A Kolter Hospitality Bistro Attendant delivers service excellence to our guests and creates a welcoming, comfortable environment. This position is responsible for taking orders, preparing and delivering items, following accurate cash handling procedures, organizing and maintaining a clean service area, cleaning tables and area, and following all health and alcohol laws.

Performance Expectations

• Greet guests and ensure prompt requests for food and drink orders.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and beverage services.
• Observe guests to fulfill any additional requests and to perceive when meal portions have been completed.
• Maintain a clean work and storage area.
• Assist in the set-up, cleaning, and refreshing of the function rooms.
• Process all orders using Micros and collect payment from customers
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Provide assistance in Food and Beverage areas including busing, cleaning, resetting tables, and delivering food to guests (room service delivery).
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of Food and Beverage prep areas.
• Count the bank at end of shifts, and follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures.
• Perform all side work at the end of shift including rolling silverware, stocking, and other duties as assigned.
• Report any items in need of repair.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.
