Barista

Overview: A Kolter Hospitality AM Bartender delivers service excellence to our guests and creates a welcoming and comfortable environment. This position is responsible for setting up, preparing, and serving food and beverages.

Performance Expectations:

1. Prepare beverages according to Company recipes and standards including the espresso machine, all other coffee orders, and signature cocktails
2. Properly check I.D.s
3. Have a thorough knowledge of menus and applicable specials. 
4. Aide in bar promotions.
5. Engage guests in a cordial, efficient and professional manner.
6. Process and collect payments from guests.
7. Count the bank at the beginning and end of shifts and follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, while ensuring all supplies are clean and sanitized throughout the entire shift.
9. Perform all bars set up and restocking/replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
10. Perform opening and closing procedures.
11. Know and comply with food handling and liquor laws.
12. Report any items in need of repair.
13. Follow all safety procedures while working.
14. Check with Front Desk team for occupancy and current groups in house.

General Requirements:

Able to work most weekends and holidays.

Report to work on time and in proper uniform.

Knowledge and/or ability to operate a computer.

Experience: At least one (1) year of bartending experience preferred.

Education: None

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours.

Occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling.
