BOM Coord (50097)

The BOM Coordinator is responsible for preparing and loading accurate product bills of materials into Oracle in an Engineer-To-Order (ETO) environment.  This position utilizes Oracle, MS Office, FileZilla, BOM Generators, and Kolpak's Engineering Database. The BOM Technician must understand Kolpak's product offering, associated component parts, and how they are assembled into a bill of materials.  This position interacts frequently with Engineers, Designers, Production Control, Customer service, and Operations personnel regarding complex data that is time sensitive.  This position will regularly do root cause and corrective action on errors associated with bills of materials.

Reporting directly to the Design Engineering Manager, this position is based on-site in Parsons, TN*. 

Major Accountability:

• Accurately prepare and upload product bill of materials via Oracle, MS Office, FileZilla, BOM Generators, and Kolpak's Engineering Database. 
• Root cause and corrective action on identified bill of material errors within Oracle 
•  Maintain department records, changes, etc. 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Process walk-in orders by creating and uploading bill of materials into Oracle 
• Process repeats 
• Set up buyouts in Oracle 
• Set up new product offerings in Oracle. 
•  Correct issues with bill of materials through root cause and corrective action
• Maintain department records through accurate filing
• Check work through use of the discovery report

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Intermediate Oracle skills FileZilla experience a plus
• Ability to operate general office equipment, and ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Typical office environment.
• Must be able to wear PPE as needed.
