Position Overview:
Kolar Tire & Auto is seeking a skilled and dependable Tire Technician to join our team in Three Forks, Montana. As a Tire Tech, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, mounting, and balancing tires, as well as assisting customers with their tire needs. You will ensure high-quality service, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and help deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for various vehicle types
- Operate tire changing and balancing equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Assist customers with tire-related questions and provide excellent service
- Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Tire Technician preferred (but we will train the right candidate)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver?s license and a clean driving record
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Standing, bending, and moving for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
