Job Description: We are seeking a Mid-Size Mechanic to work out of our shop in Colonial Heights, VA. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work on mid-size construction equipment small tools, gasoline driven tools, diesel driven tools, weld machines, generators and air compressors. Diagnose issues with diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics and electrical systems. Keep detailed records of work done and parts used. Make sure equipment is job ready every day Keep a clean and safe workplace. Minimal travel and weekends REQUIREMENTS 1-3 years mechanical experience and aptitude in construction equipment Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems and electrical systems Must have basic hand tools Valid driver’s license Reliable, punctual and takes pride in quality work BENEFITS Kokosing offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, life, and disability insurance, paid time off and a 401K plan. Expected base pay range for this positions is: $28.00/hr - $34.00/hr This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
