Head Start Classroom Paraprofessional
Available sites : Darrough Chapel ELC, South Peru / Peru Schools
Hours : Approximately 37.5 Hours Per Week
Hourly Wage : $12.28 per hour
Benefits : Benefit Eligible Position
Responsibilities :
Assist Head Start teacher in general daily classroom activities; supervision of students at assigned times; working individually or in small groups with students for instructional purposes. This position will be responsible for assisting with social and emotional growth of our students both in and out of the classroom. Assist with serving breakfast, lunch, and snack daily. Monitor students on the bus as needed. Attend Head Start mandatory training, follow Head Start performance standards and all requirements for state early childhood licensing and Head Start. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
Hold a Childhood Development Associate certificate (CDA) or higher or willing to obtain. Applicant should be flexible. Applicant should possess the ability to work with young children in a positive manner.
