Description:
Kokomo Auto World, INC is hiring Experienced Technicians.
Monday – Friday work week.
Core Responsibilities
- Diagnose & Troubleshoot: Use computerized diagnostic equipment and precision tools to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Repair & Replace: Perform complex repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering components, and fuel systems according to manufacturer specifications.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct scheduled tune-ups, oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, and safety inspections.
- Documentation: Keep accurate logs of maintenance and repairs performed, parts used, and hours worked.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, properly dispose of hazardous waste, and ensure a clean work environment.
- Customer Service: Explain mechanical problems and recommended repairs clearly to service advisors.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Salary is based on experience and certifications.
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent; formal technical training, vocational school, or completion of an apprenticeship is highly preferred.
- Certifications: Valid certifications (such as ASE for automotive) are valued.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of internal combustion engines, electronic sensors, and electrical systems.
