Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas for new guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest complaints professionally
- Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales opportunities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and cash handling tasks
- Experience in food preparation, food industry operations, or hospitality is advantageous
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/host or serving experience is beneficial
