Duties
- Greet customers warmly, offering assistance and answering questions about products and store services
- manage to go orders and drive through customers
- Operate the cash register (POS system) efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly
- Handle cash register operations including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and issuing receipts
- Upsell products and promote store promotions or special offers to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits of merchandise
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and participate in merchandising efforts to maintain an attractive shopping environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette or in person, ensuring customer needs are met promptly
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking merchandise and participating in stock counts or audits
- Support store team members with supervising experience by helping train new staff or guiding team efforts during busy periodsExperience
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math is advantageous
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customer bases
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening, are essential for delivering outstanding service
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately and responsibly
- Experience in supervising or leading small teams enhances your fit for this role
