Dispatch Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatch Coordinator to join our team in Burlington, KY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating outgoing deliveries, maximizing delivery efficiency, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Coordinate outgoing deliveries to ensure timely and accurate shipment of products.
• Maximize efficiency of deliveries by optimizing routes and schedules.
• Prepare invoices and work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Answer incoming calls and provide accurate information about products and services to customers and drivers.
• Assist with loading and/or offloading trucks using a forklift as needed to help stage loads.
• Make corrections and substitutions as needed to accommodate delivery changes or issues.
• Maintain fleet documentation, ensuring all records are up to date and compliant with company policies.

• At least 1 year of dispatch experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate multiple deliveries and manage time effectively.
• Experience preparing invoices and work orders.
• Forklift operation experience preferred to assist with loading/offloading trucks.
• Ability to make quick decisions and adjustments to delivery schedules as needed.
• Familiarity with maintaining fleet documentation and records.
