Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and wine/spirits selections
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or guest relations is desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability preferred
