About the Role
As Associate Organic & AI Search Analyst, you will serve as the core data and reporting support across the SEO & AI Search organization. Acting as an analytical bridge between foundational search operations and emerging AI innovation, you will turn search data, site health metrics, and web performance numbers into clear, actionable insights that drive commercial impact and overall business performance for the team.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with the Manager to assemble, organize, and format performance SEO, AEO, and GEO (Search Engine, Answer Engine, and Generative Engine Optimization) metrics to measure commercial impact support the preparation of high-visibility reports and presentations for leadership without holding ultimate ownership of executive-level deliverables
- Update and maintain standard team-level organic search performance dashboards using Qlik, Google Sheets, Tableau, or Looker Studio apply AI-powered tools and reporting automation to optimize data collection workflows, improve dashboard accuracy, and support cross-functional reporting requests
- Execute weekly, monthly, and seasonal performance data pulls to help identify traffic shifts, trends, and surface anomalies for team review
- Monitor daily data feeds across primary SEO platforms (Google Search Console, Conductor, Merchant Center) to safeguard data accuracy and resolve reporting gaps before summaries reach the Manager
- Partner with SEO team to pull keyword research, analyze search intent trends, perform basic content gap reporting, and track the impact of content updates and topic clusters
- Assist the Technical SEO team by pulling crawl reports, log file data summaries, Core Web Vitals metrics, and tracking indexation trends pre- and post-launch
- Pull and organize data to support joint projects with Social, Paid, and Digital Ops teams to evaluate total search performance
- Track, log, and analyze performance metrics, brand mentions, citation frequency, and sentiment across traditional search platforms and AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews) using defined testing templates to evaluate brand visibility and commercial growth opportunities
- Monitor changing SERP (Search Engine Results Page) features and zero-click trends, providing raw data summaries to guide content and technical recommendations
- Additional tasks may be assigned
What Skills You Have
Required
- 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, digital marketing, or SEO reporting, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics
- Strong expertise in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
Preferred
- Working familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Looker Studio, Tableau) to maintain and build clean, visual reporting widgets
- Exposure to or hands-on experience using enterprise search platforms (Google Search Console, Conductor, Screaming Frog, or Google Analytics)
- Eagerness to learn emerging search analytics tools and adapt to evolving AI search tracking methodologies
