As a Teller / Member Service Representative, you'll be an important part of the Saukville branch team and one of the first people our members interact with. Position Overview
The Teller / Member Service Representative helps members with everyday banking transactions, account questions, and financial solutions while creating a welcoming and positive experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, building relationships, and developing their career in retail banking and financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional support to members in person, over the phone, and through email.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account maintenance, and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash while maintaining accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Identify member needs and recommend appropriate financial products and services.
- Educate members on digital banking tools and additional credit union solutions.
- Answer questions and resolve concerns while maintaining confidentiality and following credit union policies and procedures.
- Support branch goals by creating an exceptional member experience and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, cash handling, banking, or financial services is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for helping others and building relationships.
- Basic math skills and confidence using technology.
- Ability to learn quickly, work accurately in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with a team.
