SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet, welcome and assist all guests on their purchasing needs and educate them on the products and services provided.
- Assist in overall organization of store by making sure that size runs are complete and merchandise is in the proper location and folded or hung neatly.
- Continually learn more about the products carried in the shop through vendor presentations and supervisor/associate meetings.
- Assist in maintenance of store: Cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, glass and window cleaning, sweeping, garbage removal, etc.
- Suggestive sell our retail offerings, in-shop promotions and inform guests of events.
- Cashiering and finalizing the Sale: opening and closing of register, ringing sales (cash, credit card, gift certificate, room charges etc), processing coupons, discounts, markdowns, and end-of-day reports.
- Assist in the training of new Retail Associates.
- Assist with placing special orders.
- Assist in checking in shipments and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Assist with tagging of new merchandise and preparing merchandise for store floor.
- Be knowledgeable in basic Dataworks inventory system.
- Be knowledgeable about and be able to promote the Destination Kohler Resort and the Village of Kohler: van service, directions, restaurants and menus, hours of operation etc.
- Complete other tasks assigned within job scope.
This is a full-time position, working weekdays and weekends with shifts varying from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.
