Opportunity

Specific Responsibilities:
- Maintain complete working knowledge of:
- Proper serving etiquette and guest relation expectations
- All liquor brands, beers, and wines
- Resort offerings
- All company policies and procedures
- Safety practices
- Set-up function rooms and spaces, including tables, linens, food and beverage stations, and other event components according to the instructions on the Banquet Event Order and according to supervisor’s instructions.
- Serve food and beverage in accordance to standards and in accordance to the instructions of supervisors and management.
- Supporting room refreshes and cleaning as needed.
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly.
- Ensure appearance of food and beverages being served are within standards.
- Ensure all event and work spaces remain organized, maintained, and visually appealing.
- Breakdown function rooms and/or breaks at the conclusion of functions.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all storage and work areas.
- Additional support duties as assigned.
Skills/Requirements
- Candidate must have ability to verbally communicate and hear.
- Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds on a continuous basis.
- Must be able to stand and be on feet for up to 12 hours minimum per day
- High school diploma
- Food service experience preferred
