Location: Hybrid/3 days a week, Glendale, WIThe Financial Analyst supports the Controller of Corporate Functions by partnering closely with business leaders to deliver accurate financial results, forecasts, and budgets. This role provides financial insight, drives accountability, and ensures disciplined cost management across assigned corporate departments. The analyst plays a critical role in monthly close activities, budget/forecast cycles, management reporting, and special projects that support operational and financial excellence.Specific Responsibilities:Financial Planning & ForecastingLead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts for assigned corporate functions.Partner with department leaders to understand cost drivers, upcoming initiatives, and financial risks/opportunities.Deliver clear analysis and commentary on forecast trends and variances versus budget and prior periods.Support and help coordinate the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with corporate targets.Financial Reporting & Close SupportSupport monthly close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.Validate actuals, investigate variances, and ensure accurate reporting of functional spend.Prepare dashboards, management reports, and analytics for the Controller of Corporate Functions and functional leaders.Ensure alignment with corporate accounting policies and reporting standards.Business Partnership & Cost ManagementServe as the finance partner to assigned corporate departments (e.g., HR, IT, Legal, Marketing, Operations).Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize spending and strengthen budget discipline.Review major spend requests and business cases, challenging assumptions where necessary.Maintain a strong control environment and promote financial accountability across functions.Special Projects & Process ImprovementSupport cross-functional and finance-led special projects, including cost optimization, system improvements, and process redesign initiatives.Assist with integration of new tools, enhancements to reporting processes, and analytics development.Contribute to ad hoc financial modeling, benchmarking, and strategic analyses as needed.Systems & ToolsSupport improvements and optimization within corporate financial systems.Experience with SAP and OneStream is a strong plus.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.2-5 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or accounting.Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.Effective communicator with the ability to partner with and influence non-financial stakeholders.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in Excel; experience with SAP, OneStream, or other ERP/forecasting tools is preferred.Strong business acumen and ability to translate financial data into insights and recommendations.
