The New Product Integration (NPI) Project Engineer plays a critical role in new product development. During the project development process, this role serves as the Operations / Plant project leader, responsible for driving DFM, pilot builds, and mass production readiness. Coordinate communication between Design & Manufacturing teams, and make sure new products meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost request.
Specific Responsibilities / 具体工作职责
l作为运营职能的项目负责人,协调不同部门进行新项目开发,量产项目改进和生产转移项目。完成制造可行性评估,资产和费用清单,量产准备时间计划等关键交付物。
Collaborate across business functions as the Operations project lead for new products development, current products improvement and migration projects. Complete the deliverables like DFM, Capital & Expense list, Launch readiness timing plan.
l改进产品上市周期,确保新产品上市时达到质量与成本目标。推动新产品制造工业化战略与市场战略匹配。
Improve Time‑to‑Market lead time and ensure Quality and Performance levels are met for new product launches. Drive Manufacture Industrial Strategy aligned to Market Strategy.
l基于全球不同地区产能、成本以及开发周期等因素,评估产品自制或外购方案。
Provide Make versus Buy analysis, based on Global capacity, cost modeling and lead time etc.
l定期向运营管理层(经理/总监/副总裁)汇报项目状态,并升级项目风险。
Present project status and escalation risks to multiple levels of Operations leadership including Managers, Directors, and VPs.

Solid report to NPI Manager.

Skills/Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS / 教育背景及工作经历要求
l机械类专业本科以上学历
Bachelor’s degree and major in mechanical engineering
l至少8年以上制造业工作经验, 3年以上新项目开发协调类岗位经验
Minimum of 8 years’ work industry experience and at least 3 years in NPD coordinator role.
l优先具备装配工艺工程师经验
Assembly process engineer experience will be plus.
l善于自我激励,具备在复杂、快速变化的环境中解决问题的能力
Strong self‑motivation and the problems solving ability in complex, fast‑changing environments.
l良好的沟通技巧及人际关系技能。英语可以作为工作语言
Good communication skill and interpersonal skills. English can be the working language.
