Position Summary

Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Support Engineer will provide the best support possible to our clients and our internal teams and strive for 100% uptime on all internal applications and the fastest possible problem resolution on any external applications.

Requirements

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • 1st level troubleshooting
  • Initial person to take incoming support calls/redirecting to support staff.
  • Support ticket creation for incoming client phone calls
  • Password Resets - employees and clients
  • New accounts - employees and clients
  • Employee computer desktop setup and desktop relocation
  • Maintain IT procedure documentation.
  • Work with client's office administrators to request PRL user EMR accounts/password resets.
  • Work on projects with IT Team
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications
  • 2 years in an IT support role or similar
  • Must be extremely organized
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be detailed oriented and timeline driven
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to problem solve and strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to maintain effective relationships with providers, management, staff, and other organizational contacts
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Experience in healthcare industry and RCM preferred

  • Medical Billing Applications (Allscripts, Practice Partner, eClinical, eMDs)
  • HealthCare Standards (HIPPA, HL7)
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services
  • Crystal Reports
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Sonic Firewall and Client VPN configuration
  • Scripting Languages (Batch, Windows Script Host)
